“This is a ten-year-old Blood Gu?”
“Correct.”
Late at night, Lady Woo frowned while looking down at the Blood Gu Silent Arrow had given her.
“If I implant this into the Clan Head, he will definitely kill that damned concubine, correct?”
“Correct.”
Silent Arrow smiled quietly.
“Battles between women truly are frightening.”
“To implant Blood Gu into your husband merely to kill a concubine and her young son.”
“This too is the Clan Head's fault.”

Silent Arrow laughed inwardly.
The rumor that the Sword Demon intended to choose Won Kang as heir was only that, a rumor.
Lady Woo's jealousy had blinded her enough to treat the rumor as fact.

Lady Woo closed the wooden box containing the Blood Gu and placed it inside her clothes.
“You can definitely kill Hyeonri and Won Kang?”
“Do not worry.”
“Killing people is something I am extremely skilled at.”
“Bring me the heads of those two.”
“Then I will implant this ten-year-old Blood Gu into the Clan Head.”
“Very well.”
Silent Arrow smiled coldly and disappeared into the darkness.
Left alone, Lady Woo slowly calmed the jealousy and anger boiling inside her.
The first time she received Blood Gu from that person, she had only wanted to turn the Clan Head's heart back toward herself.
She had believed using Blood Gu would allow her to reclaim the affection he had given Hyeonri.
At first, it seemed to work.

But his affection for Hyeonri did not change.
His affection for Hyeonri's son, Won Kang, did not change either.
And the rumor that the Clan Head intended to place Won Kang above her own son as heir refused to disappear.
If it will be stolen from me, I would rather destroy it.
Lady Woo quietly sharpened her killing intent in the darkness.
“A, are you all right?”
Hyeonri's hands trembled as she applied medicine to the Sword Demon's face.
